red stripes for the win by Hart-Worx

Absolutely fabulous work. Latex is such a awesome fabric to photograph. Lightning is stunning and vibrant. Composition is well defined,...

Which quote from Isaac Asimov do you like the most

8 deviants said The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom.
6 deviants said Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today - but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.
4 deviants said If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them.
3 deviants said Humanity has the stars in its future, and that future is too important to be lost under the burden of juvenile folly and ignorant superstition.
3 deviants said I do not fear computers. I fear the lack of them.
3 deviants said Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome.
3 deviants said Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

Working some more with my cam.

Spiced up the colors and generally worked up the whole picture in photoshop cs2.

Abnormality by Mr-Frenzy
Are you one of those who stand out from the rest, a colorful spot on the bleak everyday society ;) hehe

Was working some more with some techniques i was eager to test out. I think it worked out pretty good. I was trying to get a clean, smooth look, yet still not loose too much of an interesting composition.

I staged some blocks of sugar and was trying to get a nice dof with a smooth bokhe. Then i got this idea hehe, what if i dip one of these suckers into some strawberry juice to make it stand out more. Well, the rest of the piece i worked up in photoshop cs2. Added some more intenze light and contrast. I removed some of the shaddows to further enhance the clean look.

Well, me and my experimenting :)

Hope you guys like it ;)

Working time: 4 hours including the staging
Tools of the trade: Canon eos 20d w/18-55mm, flash: Canon ex 580, Photoshop cs2, bucket of coffee

Well now I know why you like my pictures of Norway!!! This trip was a gift from all my friends, they chipped in to send me!! I was 21, and broke. My girlfriends parents were from Norway and they were going back for a visit. I was so lucky, I had interpreters, and got to see a lot of Norway off the beaten path. It was the best trip I have ever taken. Of course it was my only overseas trip. But I have travelled a lot in the states and Canada. So thank you for faving so much or all of my gallery!! I have never had that happen!!!
