This is a shot i've been dying to do for some time. I was aiming for a classy looking, quiet, peaceful shot, with lots of contrast and a semi b/w look which the quadtones bring. And the funniest thing is that i didn't even think that this piece would cut it before i actually saw it on my monitor.

I think if theres one thing that stands out, its the feeling of serene silence, one can almost touch the lack of time.

With the 100-400mm i was able to get rid of the depth in the landscape, to create that flat look which makes one wonder how far is it between the bottom to the top.

Hope you guys like the shot.

Gear used: Canon 5D, Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM
SW: photoshop cs3, osx Leopard
