Yepp im here with my first serious atempt on an impact picture. This is by far the most worked up pic i've done. After 127 layers and 20 hours of work, im kinda tired lol. But i think it turned out alright.

The foreground is made up of two stocks from stock.xchng wick i tweaked up a bit to get them to fit together. I've used a different blending technique this time, and the horrible edge is perhaps not so visible as in my previous one

Its weird, this pic was a practise piece. I toyed around a couple of hours this morning and suddenly im all tied up in this piece. So once again its primarely the practise pieces that gets posted lol.

The bits and pieces that are flying out from the impact is actually asteroids from , a guy you should check out if you havent done that.
