Description

The one thing i love about shooting in the deep forest is being able to adventure out to hidden locations not very many people have been. The little voice in ones head that says "hey, i don't think there's been people here in ages".
The wonder when you spot an old impression of a boot, wondering where that individual was going. How long has it been?

One of my favorite things to shoot is tight, dense, forest scapes. Where one can almost feel and smell the nature. To wish to take a sip of the water rushing past, to feel the cold air gently pulling at your jacket. To really make the most out of the composition without clutting it up with too much distraction.

The shot was made up of 3 pano segments, with 5 brackets at each exposure to get the most out of the range as i could.

As seen in www.flickr.com/photos/13091696…

The piece was shot in the forest area called Brungmarka in Klæbu Norway.

Enjoy.

Amazing picture! It nearly looks like if it were a painting in most of the parts if you look at it. In the back around the snow, it kind of looks more realistic compared to the front. I like the way the water was captured with some blending of colours in the ripples. There are lots of details in the trees with sharp lines for the branches. I like this kind of deep forest picture because it captures of the nature of it nicely, and also some nice use of photography skills used in it. Good job on this btw.
